This app is great for covert pic taking. Has a small leaning curve but worth it. Has vid or photo options. I like how pics/vids goes to its own gallery, NOT added to your camera roll. One improvement I'd like to see it the ability to delete pic or vid while viewing gallery (rather than going thru separate delete screen). Hope created sticks around. Apple seems tight on these fun apps.

This app is the perfect discrete camera app. Easy to use, versatile, nothing to give it away and dependable. No bugs or crashes. This is the only hidden camera app you'll ever need.But equally satisfactory has been the customer service. I had questions about the app and Rath got back to me and answered all my questions. And when I asked about adding a digital clock background a few months later he made it part of the latest update. Would love if the color of the digital clock was changeable but even so it's still great. This app receives my highest possible recommendation.

Olympus produced the 35 SP line of rangefinder cameras from 1969 through 1976. Though somewhat overshadowed early on by the explosive popularity of SLRs, the Olympus SP rangefinder models were sophisticated and high-quality cameras. Unique among 35mm rangefinders, the SP featured a dual metering system, with both spot and center-weighted readings. Its compactness relative to SLRs of comparable ability remains a strong point in its favor among enthusiasts.

1) The Nikon SP was the first 35mm Rangefinder with SIX built inframelines. The combined RF/VF window had projected parallax frames for the50/85/105/135. To the left of the main window was the wide angle window, showing nonparallax corrected views of the 28 and 35. Keep in mind this was in 1957! It took Leica 23 YEARS to equal this feat with the M4P in 1980. The SP has a unique look due to its very large RF/VF window. It stretches across half the camera's face. SP's are instantlyrecognizable if you know what to look for.

3) The Nikon SP had the first reliable professionalquality motordrive. This was a really big deal at the time, and one of themilestones of 35mm Photography. Yes, the Praktina offered a motor before the SP, but itwas notoriously unreliable and not of professional quality.Everytime we shoot modern cameras and hear that little whrrrrrr of the motor, we are payinghomage to the Nikon SP!

5) The Nikon SP was the first 35mm camera withTitanium shutter curtains over the last half of its production). Thoughuntried at the time, Titanium curtains proved themselves incredibly tough anddurable. A Titanium shutter SP has never had its curtain crack and peel ---like the cloth curtains on all Leica M's eventually will from old age. Likewise, the sun has never burned a hole in the SP's Titanium shutter when the cameraleft sitting in the sun. (A lens focused at infinity acts like magnifyingglass, and will burn a hole right through a Leica RF shutter if left in the same positionlong enough towards the sun.) All things considered, it's strange that Leica hasnever incorporated this obvious improvement.

The SP has a very nice feel to it, every bit competitiveto the M3. The Leica has a brighter RF/VF, but the SP is easier and faster to loadand rewind. The SP's finish was beautiful. It's a pity that few mint camerasremain. If you see a tired worn SP sitting on a shelf, realize its only a shadow of itsonce beautiful self. As great as the SP's finish was, Leica and Contax edged it out finishwise, but the SP edged out the Canons.

The focusing wheel just behind\"Nikon\" focuses the 50/2, 50/1.4, 25/4, 28/3.5, 35/3.5 and35/2.8. The other lenses are focused by turning their lensbarrels. The little metal tab just in back of the focusing wheel is the infinitylock for those lenses. Push it and it unlocks. The shutter speed dialis a single non-rotating dial, just like on the later F's. Pull up androtate the shutter speed dial to set the sync for electronic flash or flashbulbs. You use the color codes in the little window in front of thedial. In the pic it's set to the red dot, a flash bulb setting. Forflash, set it to \"FX\" and use a shutter speed of 1/60th or slower. Notice the \"A\" and the \"R\" in front of the shutter release. By turning the shutter release collar, you set the camera to advance orrewind the film. The film counter is automatic, but you do manually set thereminder for 20 or 36 exposures. Shown mounted is the hard to find and sharp black85/2 Nikkor.

Bob Rotoloni, in his superb book Nikon RangefinderCamera, states that 22,348 SP's were produced from 1957 to 1962. To put this inperspective, about 165,000 total Nikon Rangefinders were made, about 950,000 Nikon F'swere made, and about 225,000 Leica M3's were made. The SP is a relatively rare camera,sought by users and collectors alike. The rarest SP are the black ones, originally soldjust to photojournalists. Occasionally you will see SP's with serial numbersranging in the 30,000 range or over. These are cameras with replacement top plates.

The Nikon SP is superior to the Leica M's when it comesto using sync cords. SP's use a standard PC terminal, placed out of theway on the camera's front left edge. Here it won't easily end up in thephotogs eye, like the Leica M design. M3's & M2's used a non standard syncoutlet which was a bit of a pain. Later Leica went with the standard sync outlet,but in the same location which is easily in your way.

The Nikon/Contax RF mount is peculiar in having thefocusing helical for 50 mm lenses built into the camera body and focused witha rotating wheel which falls neatly beneath the right index finger. All other lensesexcept for the 25 are designed to be focused using their own helical. The focus wheel forthe 50 takes a bit of getting used to, but is not inconvenient. The focus wheel can bedispensed with by turning the 50's own barrel if you like. Mountwide angle and telephoto lenses by turning the focusing mount AND the lenses back toinfinity.

While some will argue superiority between theLeitz/Nikon/Contax/Canon lenses of this era,my experience found very little difference between them usingmedium or fast films in hand held shooting. They will all give greatprofessional results--just as you would expect of professional quality cameras.

The Olympus 35 SP is a fixed-lens mechanical rangefinder camera with a leaf shutter and completely automated program autoexposure, as well as full manual exposure controls and a dual spot and center-weighted meter.

The Olympus 35 SP is the best camera ever made by Olympus for serious photography. While the newer Olympus XA series is smaller and even more convenient, for the photographer who knows what he's doing and demands a camera with better reliability and better and faster handling than even anything from LEICA, the Olympus 35 SP is the answer.

While with LEICA lenses you need to carry at least four lenses: a 35mm f/1.4 SUMMILUX, a 50mm f/2 SUMMICRON, a 35mm f/2 SUMICRON and a 50mm f/1.4 SUMMILUX, you get all four lenses in the one G. Zuiko 42mm f/1.7. 42mm is also exactly in between 35mm and 50mm, and f/1.7 is exactly in-between f/1.4 and f/2. While every other camera makes forces you to buy four lenses, none of which really hits the mark, BINGO!, this Olympus provides you with a lens that replaces all four other lenses. While the LEICAMAN is fumbling with his impressive lens collection, you've already got the shot.

Ideally use a mercury PX-625 or PX-13 like the Mallory RM625R, Eveready E625, GE 625, National M-1D, Toshiba TH-MC or similar. A new one usually lasts 10 to 20 years so long as you close the case or keep the camera in the dark when it's not in use.

It's better than any LEICA because it both shows my photo with no interference from other lens' framelines, and shows the exposure meter reading. Earlier LEICAs don't show the meter reading, newer LEICAs crap-up their finders with frames for lenses not on the camera at the same time. At least the newest LEICAs have a primitive red LED to show shutter speed, but these LEDs often also encroach inside the framelines.

Perfect: It's within a tenth of a stop at all speeds, except for 1/500 which is a half stop slow, exactly as we expect leaf shutters to do. Not bad for a 40 year old camera that has probably never been serviced!

LEICA makes no lens as good as the 42/1.7 of the 35SP. LEICA's lenses faster than f/2 have more distortion and aren't as sharp as this Olympus lens, and LEICA's only 40mm lens isn't very sharp - or as fast - as this Olympus lens. Even if LEICA's only \"perfect normal\" (40 to 45mm lens) was as good and as fast as the Zuiko lens, very few of LEICA's cameras have a 40mm framleine with which to use it.

I bought my Canon QL G III 17 new in 1982. I bought my Canon as a backup to my Nikons when I worked at a newspaper, and for that it worked well. However if it's the only camera I'm carrying, I prefer the 35 SP.

Use the included case. It greatly improves battery life since the meter turns off automatically in the dark, but uses battery power if the camera is left out in the light. It might not matter that much today because the Zinc-air cells have more capacity than mercury cells, and the Zinc-air cells usually dry out before they actually get used up in a camera. 59ce067264
