Mega Man 9 is still one of my all-time favorite games ever, and it's the only game I want to be able to play every year on the Wii. Not just because it's beautiful and fun, but also because it is quite possibly the only game that would be on this list if I didn't have to play it on the Wii (Next or any other console is basically a bonus; if I couldn't play it that way, I'd just buy it on the Wii U physical disc).
This romhack throws you back to the classics of the Mega Man series. You can play the main game or download extra levels. The game cannot be run online. You don't need to download plugins and can just play out of the Wii Remote. All this, downloaded to non-hardcore Mega Man fans.
The iconic Mega Man series moves on to New Game Plus using the Mega Man Powered Up system.
