I agree with black_jimmy, and unfortunately with the new questlines, there's too much mindless navigation over the huge island. Probably the main complaint I have with this game. I also don't like the difficulty and/or trainer that they used to have in the previous games. I played the beta on my 360 and found that it was very, very easy. I agree that it was boring and I spent more time in the world map than in the quests. This game could have been better with an additional crosshair.
All you Xbox gamers that don't like XBLA games are NOT going to like this game. The new quests are MUCH better than the old ones and the equipment is much more useful. The combat is a little clunky but still fun. Overall it's a great game.
The only reason this game is an 8 is because of the art. The overall gameplay is boring and the plot doesn't make any sense. The development team should have created a story for the game in the beginning and the player shouldn't have had to wander around the entire game trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
