Because the game is pay to remove ads, it's free to play. It's a bit on the small side so not much to do unless you're a huge fan of platformer games. If you're looking for something a little more lengthy, check out our list of the best platformers for kids. If you don't mind paying, though, Yarntown is a pretty fun game.
I am working on a game with the same idea, with different mechanics. It has a lot more of a story because the player is a kid who is trying to help his/her (?) friend. I think it is a cool concept for a game.
Short answer is, I don't have a set end date. The game keeps on going if you want it to. Some of the changes I've made to the game are just because I've gotten tired of how the game is set up and I wanted to do something different. If you want to know when I'm going to release it, I'll post on Twitter or something. I'm not really sure yet.
The point of the game is basically that it's a bit like an RPG, except it's not as complex. I'll have all the basics down like enemies, quests, etc. but I have no idea what to do with them. I haven't started working on my engine because it's going to be on my website once I get it up and running.
It's a fun game, but trying to use a GPS app for a game is a bit cumbersome. I'd recommend something like Fun As Hell instead. It's a retro platformer that's fun to play and is a good distraction from the real world.
So tell me, what are your favorite apps? I'd love to know what you like and don't like about apps for kids. And if you can recommend some games that don't need Wi-Fi or data, I'd appreciate it!
I will follow your instruction. I already follow you in YouTube. I will search for tutorials about Game Maker Studio. Your style of drawing, game design, and all about this specific game just touch my heart. Your team give me a taste of a fusion of childhood and ghibili felling playing this game. So thanks A LOT!
