Neither this or the other possible solution worked for me.. I have no such TS whatever files in my Bin and using windows xp sp3 compatability doesnt work because i cant install new expansions.. Am i the only one here who never had Sims 2 on another PC but is installing everything fresh? I got the graphics to work by downloading a custom fix and using the Nvidia Control Panel. I installed The Sims 2 and the Sims 2 university life collection beautifully.. BUT When i try to install Open for Buisness it forces me to update at the end, i put in the sims 2 disk 4 like it asks.. and it doesnt work. It tells me there is an issue, then terminates the installation and uninstalls open for buisness. I have tried running that TS whatever that makes you update in compatability mode, running sims 2 itself, university life, and all apps in the files in compatability mode... and nothing. Even the autorun within the open for buisness and Sims 2 disk 4 did not work when i set them in compatability mode. I want to play sims 2 . HELP

hey guys, i had recently purchsed the sims 2 CD and ive been trying to install it but everytime i try theres and error with the files being moved so it never actually completes it!!helppp meeeee

If you place a bunch of pillars to serve as a foundation, then build a floor on top of the pillars and finally remove those pillars, the floor will remain in place. Now it will be floating, however. You can add walls, a roof, doors, and windows to create a floating house. Don't forget to build a staircase so your sims can reach it.

i got the sims double deluxe for my birthday and one day i took the booklet out and forgotto put it back in. :( So i went look well this did'nt help its just people saying stuff ifanyone finds the code plz tell me

well i was looking fory my box of games and i saw the sims 2 double deluxe but i dont nowhere it came from so i put it the compeatra but the instring booklet was the wong oneplearys coud some one help me out cos i dont have the serial cord i need the serial corld

I installed the base game and replaced the old sims2.exe with the crack also running compatibility mode (Windows XP (SP3)). Still asks me for the Disc. Even when I mount the disc it doesnt work. Please assist

does anyone have a problem with direct x9c when i play my version of the game (sims 2 double deluxe) i dont not get this error. the moment i try using these versions. i get a direct x 9 issue. do you know how to solve it. im using a intel 4790k, nvidia gtx970 running on windows 10 pro. i have tried using a windows xp virtual machine but i got the same no graphics card supporting direct x9c error.

Recieving Fatal Error: could not find sims data directory message no matter what I try. I have gotten this exact file of the game to work before on windows 10. not sure what to do as the answers online are from 2003.

The maximum value of the Sim Creation Index is 32767. Once a neighborhood has reached the limit, trying to create any new sims (via births, CAS or any other way) will result in the game crashing.
