I am curious and I like to learn, I would like to continue developing and learning and in this way I hope to be able to contribute to the industry as an animator. I would like to be able to make films that surprise and delight the audience.
My tasks vary a lot, from making a video with characters to making an advertising film, producing scenery, designing and building sets and everything in between. My job requires me to be engaged and curious in every aspect of production, from the costume design to the set decoration, the voice acting, the shooting of the scene in the animation stage. I have to be able to follow a project to its end and understand what it means to the client, and to be able to anticipate the clients' needs.
I am an artist and I think that what is essential in this industry is to be able to express yourself in different ways through the medium you use. I believe that the foundation of a good animator is being curious, open to all the possibilities and ready to share and learn with others. This is what I look for and I really enjoy when I get to work on a project that addresses my expectations, and I believe this is a much more rewarding task than others.
Being an animator requires you to be curious, open to new opportunities and interested in learning new things. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to move from Belgium to France when I was about to start my career and being able to work at Fortiche and learn more about the industry that I love so much has been a great experience. I am still learning every day and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to work on interesting projects.
